BMWDC Melbourne have invited us to attend their annual German Auto Show at Sandown Racecourse, which has been rescheduled for 30 January 2022 and we are going to run a social weekend event to coincide with the show.
We've prepared a draft itinerary for the event which will be finalised once lockdown restrictions have eased. We will be staying in the Yarra Valley as it has lots of great attractions, accommodation and restaurants. You may wish to convoy down with us and stay somewhere else, you will however need to advise at the time of registration, the specific activities you wish to be included in for booking purposes.
TRIP SCHEDULE (DRAFT):
Friday 28 January - Meet & depart from rest area on Hume Motorway at midday (exact time & location tbc). Drinks from 6.30pm, with dinner at 7.30pm at the Sir George Hotel Jugiong.

Saturday & Sunday - Accommodation TBC, Balgownie now have a wedding on, so we are making enquiries elsewhere. A group booking discount will be applied for us and exact details of how to book with the discount will be updated here prior to registration open date.
CAR SHOW REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL. Follow the link below to register and pay the $10 fee.
COMMUNICATION - We encourage all attendees to download WhatsApp to be included in the attendee group and receive updates. We also encourage attendees to bring their own CB radio, no less than 5 watts, as the club will no longer provide the 2 watt radios, the range is simply not good enough on regional trips.
The Yarra has some great attractions including a chocolate factory, cheese factory, restaurants, wineries and boutique shopping. All activities will be optional, however it is essential that you advise at the time of booking which activities/meals you wish to participate in.
This is an event for our members only. Registration is essential and registrants are responsible for booking their own accommodation directly.
