Sydney German Autofest SGA Car Show - CANCELLED

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE MERCEDES CLUB AS COUNCIL WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE A PERMIT FOR THE RESERVE DUE TO THE RAIN - NEW DATE SUNDAY 12 FEB 2023
Join us for our Club's Annual Car Show at Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood. Arguably our biggest social event of the year, and after two years without the opportunity to show off our cars, we are most excited for this event.
As 2022 is the 50th anniversary of the BMW M division we will be having the best possible display of BMW M Cars. If you have a special M, an M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6 or 1M please make sure you register and let the organisers know so your M can be featured in the display. We may even have a special award for an outstanding M.
Now in it's twelfth year and considered to be Sydney’s premier German car show, the SGA is one of the largest car events in New South Wales. Whilst the Mercedes Benz Club New South Wales is the host and organising party of the event, the five major German car marques, including BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi and VW are all well represented. Canterbury BMW will be present on the day and are major BMW Drivers Club event supporters.
AWARDS: There are a number of trophies to be won on the day for the following vehicle categories:
- New cars FXs GXs and iXs (E84, E89, All Fxx & Gxx, i3, i8)
- E60 thru E90 and similar (E82/7/8, E90/1/2/3, E60/1, E63/4, E70, E71)
- E46 and similar (E46, E39, E65/6, E83, E53, E85, E86)
- E36 and similar (E36, E34, E32, E38)
- E23 to E30 (E30, E28, E24, E23)
- All before E23 (All xx02, 114, E6, E10 & other older BMW models, inc. Isetta)
JUDGING CRITERIA: Will be sent to registered attendees in advance to assist in preparation of vehicles. Alternatively simply wash and display your car and be part of a great day out with the family.
ENTRY FEE: $20 per vehicle on display. The organisers have set up ticket purchases in advance through Eventbrite, so they can manage vehicle numbers, efficient entry on the day, and provide clubs with reporting as to who has registered. We highly encourage all members to register their vehicles ($20 fee per vehicle) in advance through Eventbrite. FOOD: There will be food trucks at the event or alternatively bring a picnic.
PHOTOGRAPHER: There will be a photographer there on the day taking snaps of all the beautiful cars, some of which will be displayed on our club website, others will be available for purchase.
