Motorkhana Round 3 16/6/2019

Round 3 of our 2019 Motorkhana championship was a sellout event with a few drivers even on the waiting list to join. Rain greeted all of the volunteers and the competitors with almost everyone turning up despite the wet weather. It was great to see a lot of new faces with quite a few new members as well as several competitors from other clubs. Some highlights were Domenic Spies in his E3, something of a vintage rarely seen at motorsport events these days, the Ling brothers in a pair of white Toyota Chasers, William Spencer coming second in the slalom shootout on his first time trying motorkhana and Quang Tran bringing out a brand new M2 Competition.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, Kim Hunter (Clerk of the Course), David Hunter, Bob Williams, Peter Seaver, Pat Jenkins and Alex Wong. Thank you to Victor Yee and Randall Lumbewe for being the event photographers.

Congratulations to all those who placed, well done to all those who learnt some new car control skills and we hope see you all at Motorkhana Round 4 on the 15th of September!
