BMW/Porsche Challenge and our Supersprint Round 7 Results

Our thanks to the Porsche Club NSW for hosting a terrific Supersprint at Sydney Motorsport Park Gardner Circuit on Saturday 31 October 2020.  This was their Supersprint Round 6 and our Supersprint Round 7 but more importantly it was the annual BMW Porsche Challenge.

The rain threatened but managed to miss us and we had a mainly fine day with dry track with 107 cars setting times.  Points were scored by each club in 5 speed challenges.  The exact results:  we, won the challenge by the smallest possible margin 98 points to 97 points. That is now 3 years in a row. Well done team.

The teams scores and the Results of our Supersprint Round 7 and the Points table at the end of our 2020 Championship are published in the usual place: https://www.bmwclubnsw.asn.au/motorsport-results   Note: there are now corrections to the published Class MA results.

Our thanks to the terrific team of volunteers who were the Flag Marshals for this event.  We provided 5 volunteers: Keri Peek, Josh Davis, Simon Lane, Anthony Bolic and Laurie Bilsbourough. They have all received points in our 2020 Supersprint Championship.

Don't miss our final MotorKhana for 2020. It is on 7 November and registration is full.

We have Amaroo, that is South Circuit at SMSP, for all our club members to explore the fabulous new LED lighting in an exciting race track night drive on Wednesday night 18 November.  Registration is open for this night race track drive.

Your opportunity to enjoy the Pheasant Wood Circuit is our day on Sunday 6 December.  Great for all members from Juniors, new drivers, experienced drivers and event those who want to get into Supersprints.  Registration is open https://www.bmwclubnsw.asn.au/events
