Thank you volunteers.
On 10 Jan we now have all the officials to run this event. We have the management team: Clerk of the Course, Steward, Chief Scrutineer, Race Control, Event Secretary, Sign-on Desk, Starting Grid and a full set of Flag Marshals.
I hope that we can have the same volunteer support for all the Supersprint Rounds.
As Flag Marshals are on track side of a hot track, please wear long sleeved shirt and, long trousers and enclosed shoes. If you are having laps in the passenger's seat of a Supersprint car at lunch time please make your apparel non synthetic, that is no nylon etc. and bring your helmet.
Supersprint Rules 2024 Ver.1, Rule 1.0 & Rule 6.4. call for volunteers.
Our volunteer drivers will receive valuable championship points for taken a day off driving and registering here and attend the day as a Flag Marshal or other Official. Thank you for encouraging a friend or family member to register here as an official.
Flag Marshals are very involved in all the action with a set of Flags, a MyLaps control unit and a transceiver for communicating with Race Control. Experience is not necessary as we run a full Flag Marshal Briefing. Flag Marshals have appreciation laps in the passenger's seat of a Supersprint Car at lunch time and lunch is provided.
There are other roles to consider: Event Secretary, Sign-on Desk, Scrutineering, Grid Management and Race Control. There is always the Clerk of the Course, Steward and Chief Scrutineer with the scrutineering team and Sign-on Desk staff.
