This event is now full - we look forward to welcoming you to another event in the future.

Join in for the Winter Historics Drive to the beautiful Blue Mountains!

It's time to take the cover off your historic vehicle, stretch it's legs, and enjoy a scenic drive on great roads with sweeping corners through the Blue Mountains to Hartley Vale for lunch with your friends in an iconic heritage barn.

Although we encourage our members with historic vehicles to attend our historics drives, all our members are welcome in their classic or modern BMWs. The club has over 300 historic vehicles now, so why not come out and enjoy a day drive with other club members.

Destination and lunch: Collit's Inn, Hartley Vale Rd Harley.

This venue offers the perfect setting for our historics drive lunch! Lunch will take place in the beautiful heritage barn that has been restored to it's former glory, don't worry there's a fireplace! The lunch menu will consist of shared platters (either chicken, beef or lamb, served over roasted chat potatoes with fresh seasonal local vegetables).

Drinks are to be paid on consumption and include alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (cash and eftpos available).

Important - Bring your winter woolies, it will be chilly at this time of year!

    History about the destination...

Established in 1823, Collits’ Inn is the first, and longest-standing building in the Blue Mountains region. Originally known as The Golden Fleece, Collits’ Inn was built by its namesake – former convict and unlikely entrepreneur Pierce Collits. In its first years, the inn served as an important piece of Australian history allowing a place for rest and a touch of home-grown comfort for those making the harrowing journey along the first-ever road from Sydney to Bathurst.

    Important notes:

    1. The exact meet location (in Western Sydney) and time will be provided to registered attendees one week prior to the event.
    2. 5 watt CB radios are highly recommended for use, so drivers are aware of upcoming turns and potential hazards. The club will offer a few radios on the day for loan, however we recommend our regular attendees purchase their own.
    3. Cancellations can be made through the event via your login on the club website. This will allow someone who is on the waitlist to join us on the drive.
    4. Tail-end-charlie - If you are happy to follow up the rear of the convoy to keep everyone together, please email Ash. Otherwise she will take nominations at the driver briefing.

Please send any queries to Ash at ash.sherry@bmwclubnsw.asn.au

This is the 5th Round of your 2024 Supersprint championship. It is a magic night Supersprint under those brilliant LED lights on the tight and twisty 1.8KM long Amaroo Circuit.  Registration is open.

Read these  Supp. Regs. for this event.  We are using the new Fill-in, online and submit forms so read these Supp. Regs. to understand these easy to use and straight forward requirements.   Motorsport Australia Permit 224/0908/01

Motorsport Australia Speed Licence is the minimum required licence.  We are inviting all drivers with Motorsport Australia Speed Licences from all Motorsport Australia affiliated clubs to enjoy this Supersprint at the very low starting price of $220.  That goes up to the correct $270 cost on 30 Jul, so get in quick.

Online registration, is as usual and, we are using fill-in online and submit forms. No more of that old download, print, fill in and bring those pieces of paper with you.  Instead of that now you register and pay, then come back to these three forms. This process is simple. You click on the link, it opens the form, you fill it in, sign by typing your name and click on Submit.  Do your own scrutiny check using this   Sample Scrutiny Form   to make sure your car will pass.

2024 SS5 - Risk Warning, Disclaimer and Indemnity Form

    2024 SS5 - Event Entry Form

    2024 SS5 - Self-Scrutineering Form

The new Process:  Your Disclaimer and Compliance go directly to the Sign-on desk with all your usual licence and car information.  The Sign-on desk staff mark you present, issue your driver's wrist band and present you with your "Entered Sticker".  That sticker has your Car Number, Starting Grid, Starting Place and a box to be signed by the Scrutineer.

Next is Scrutineering.  You complete your own scrutiny check at home. The Scrutineer has your submitted scrutiny form. Don't take your car to Scrutineering unless it is ready as described in the Supp. Regs. or you will be simply waved away to come back later.  If you and your car are ready then you, your car and your "Entered Sticker" go to the scrutineer who checks your car, if it passes will  sign your sticker, then will attach your signed sticker to your car.  No signed sticker then no entry to the track.

As this is round 5, if you have entered any of the rounds 1, thru 4 you should have submitted the Annex-C 2024 form for your car.  If you haven't submitted it this year then download, complete and sign your Annex-C 2024, save it and upload it as you register for this SS.5, or print it and bring it with you to the Sign-on desk. That form is available to complete online in the Rules:  https://bmwclubnsw.asn.au/Supersprint-Rules

If you are not driving in this Supersprint then please volunteer as an Official. Registration is now open for volunteers.

We also require a few volunteers for the day to assist with activities such as setting up of cones and timing of competitor runs. A hot lunch as well as snacks and drinks are provided by the club to volunteers. Volunteers can also be competitors, assisting with proceedings when not driving. If you are volunteering, please attend the skidpan at around 7.15am to assist with setup.

If you wish to volunteer and also be a passenger then please register for both tickets.
