Please note that Electric, Hybrid and Mild Hybrid vehicles can not be accepted in Motorsport Australia Events at Sydney Motorsport Park. Please don't try to register in an electric vehicle.
This is a Driver Training night on Amaroo Circuit as a Come and Try event. Your terrific opportunity to drive on this circuit under those brilliant LED lights. Motorsport Australia Permit Number is 225/0507/02.
We have our experienced drivers as instructors and are running four groups of up to 15 cars in each group.
Group 1 will be for experienced drivers looking for Supersprint driving instruction.
Group 2 less experienced drivers wanting driver training.
Group 3 for drivers new to the track looking to be instructed in their track driving.
Group 4 for inexperienced drivers starting out for track driving.
There is a process to enter this event:
Step 1. Download and read the Supp. Regs. for this Driver Experience. It lets you know how the event will be run.
Step 2. You must have a Motorsport Australia Licence. If you don’t have an MA Speed or Junior Speed Licence then go online to Motorsport Australia Speed Licence and purchase your licence online, OR, If you want just an Motorsport Australia Come & Try Introductory one day licence for $35, follow that link, download the Introductory licence, print it, fill it in including your Credit Card payment section, and bring it with you to the Sign-on Desk on the evening.
Step 3. Register for this event, complete the Registration Form and pay the entry fee online. All cars will must have a car number sticker on both sides so that Flag Marshals can identify your car. That number is your desired 1, 2 or 3 digit number that you entered on your registration and that number will be yours unless that number it is already allocated, then you will receive an email with an alternative number. Our 220mm high digits are available to purchase at the Sign-on Desk on the evening. 170mm digits from Bunnings are ok but no bits of paper or sticky tape. Do it properly. Your car needs to be recognised at speed.
Step 4. Master Event Form. It will includes your Compliance, Disclaimer, and Scrutiny Forms and must be completed and submitted online by all drivers. Here is also the List of Scrutiny items that you checked on your master form. Use it to check and make sure your car is OK. Cars must be able to pass the TfNSW road rego test or be our BMW track cars.
There is also a Passenger Ride Form. There are no Passengers, just Driving Instructors and Drivers. Download the form complete it and the Disclaimer and bring them with you and hand them to the Sign-on Desk staff.
Volunteers We already have our Experienced Supersprint Drivers with instructing talent as our Driving Instructors.
We need Flag Marshals and will be able to offer them a couple of laps of Amaroo Circuit in the Passenger's seat of talented driver's car. Please encourage your friends and relatives to be Flag Marshals for the evening and register on the Volunteers event.
