Thank you drivers.  This event is full but we do need 2 or 3 Flag Marshals

This is your opportunity to drive your daily driver BMW or track car on the Amaroo car race circuit under the brilliant Sydney Motorsport Park LED lighting.

Come and Try.  Improve your driving.  Learn car control and how to drive on a car race circuit. It is amassing just how good regular daily driver BMWs are on a car race circuit and this is your chance to have a go.

Read and understand the  Supplementary Regulations and Further Supplementary Regulations for this event see how it works.

Our Club Member Supersprint expert Drivers will be providing driving instruction for all. If you are a beginner you will practice and learn car control and smooth driving.  For experienced drivers your instructor will teach braking, steering, understeer, oversteer, cornering and acceleration.  For terrific drivers your instructor will critique, suggest and encourage.  No matter where you start you will improve.  You might even discover ABS and DSC.

This event is under a Motorsport Australia Permit.  For 14 to 18 years of age  Junior Speed licence and from 18 years of age Speed licence.  Also Introductory Licence 2024 available at $30. The best way to get a Motorsport Australia Speed licence is to go to https://portal.motorsport.org.au/octozy/login "Sign up now", create your account, sign-in, click "My licence Applications"  and purchase you licence on-line.  Let me know you licence number and its expiry date.

Before you register for this event, please read all the Driver Training articles in Motorsport section of this website. We will have a short driving presentation at Driver Briefing.

Once you are registered, download these forms, fill them in, and bring them with you to the Sign-on Desk.

Cars on the track need to pass Scrutiny. Simple form for Road Registered Cars and more complex for our Club Supersprint Cars.  Note that daily driver BMWs don't need a fire extinguisher.

So that our Flag Marshals can refer to your car, other than just as a black or white or silver BMW, it must have your appropriate 2 or 3 digit car number label on both sides. Include your desired car number on your Registration Form.  That becomes your number for this Driver Experience evening but if you choose a number that someone else already has then I will email with a suggested alternative. We have Motorsport Australia correct size and type sticky digits for sale at the Sign-on desk for $3 each or you can get Wheelie Bin numbers from Bunnings. Numbers must be white or black contrasting to your car colour, large enough for Flag Marshals to read as you go past at speed and we do not accept numbers made out of bits of stick tape.

Here is the tight and twisty Amaroo Circuit map with the red line being the Supersprint driving line.
