This is Round 1 of our 2023 Supersprint Championship and it is under the brilliant lights at the fast and flowing Druitt Circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park. You must be a member of the BMW Drivers Club NSW or BMW Clubs Australia Clubs and have at least a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence.
The new Supersprint Rules and Annex-C form have been produced and published on the website and Motorsport News. There is a Club Scrutineering Compliance form for 2023 version being produced and will appear on the website and here soon. There downloads for a paper version on Annex-C as well as an online version with YouTube videos on how to download and fill in the new Annex-C.
To be involved in our Supersprint in our club you must complete and sign the Annex-C 2023 form once only for the year and/or again if you change your vehicle Data or Modifications. On this form you sign that you have approval from the vehicle owner to enter it in this speed event and provide your vehicles competition points to provide its class of entry. The paper or online version of the Annex-C 2023 form is to be competed and emailed to motorsport@bmwclubnsw.asn.au by 8 Feb or handed to the Sign-on Staff at the Sign-on Desk on the 8 Feb evening.
Read the event Supp. Regs, download the Disclaimer, read it, sign it and bring it with you to the Sign-on Desk at the track on the day, download the Scrutiny Form, use it to check your car, sign it and bring it with you to the Scrutineers at the track on the day. All cars entered must have an exclusive 2 or 3 digit Car Number. Choose your desired car number, enter that number on your registration form. If no other driver selects that number then that car number is yours and will remain your number for the year as long as you continue to enter the championship. If someone else has that number then you will receive an email suggesting and discussing an alternative number. You purchase your own 230mm high Helvetica or Aerial or like font car number digits in black or white to contrast on your car and have them on both sides of your car for checking at scrutineering. You also require a 150mm blue battery triangle.
