
If you enjoy driving your car and enjoy a bit of a challenge then if you have not tried MotorKhana then this is your opportunity. It looks like being a perfect spring day for Saturday 20 Sep at Sydney Motorsport Park on the giant, wet, slippery, Skid Pan.
A Motorkhana is challenging, entertaining and educational. If you are interested in learning about precision car control in a fun and/or competitive environment then this event is for you!
This event involves timed runs on a serious of tests (courses) set up using traffic cones on the skidpan with the goal of achieving the fastest possible time without making mistakes. It is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience alike. In car instructors are normally provided at our events.
This MotorKhana is part of a 5 MotorKhana Championship with trophies awarded at the end of the year at the Club's Annual Dinner. All the rules for MotorKhana are published in "Motorsport" on this website.
No helmets are required, only enclosed shoes, a t-shirt and shorts at a minimum. All brands of vehicles are permitted.
Entry is open to all members from 12 years of age at $80 and $105 for non-members. It is a Motorsport Australia event so a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence is required. If you don't have a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence then as the Event is a Come & Try activity you can take out a $35 Introductory Licence. Simply Register for this event, Download the Licence agreement, complete it with your credit card details and bring it with you to the Sign on Desk on Saturday Morning.
Motorsport Australia has junior non-speed licences from 12 years of age, Junior Speed Licence from 14 and full Speed Licences for those 18 years of age and over. At registration, you must provide the following documents:
1. Completed Self Statement of Vehicle Compliance
2. Completed Self Checklist Autotest
3. Completed Motorsport Australia General Disclaimer
4. Screenshot or photo of your current Motorsport Australia Speed Licence or bring your completed Introductory Licence.
Passengers and volunteers can register in the Passenger/Volunteers event.
