Join in for our next social drive to the stunning Hunter Valley!

The Hunter Valley is a beautiful destination full of exceptional wineries, chocolateries, cheese shops, and non food and wine related activities. Why not make a full day of it or stay on for the weekend! Registrations for this drive essential.

Meet location and time

Glenorie Bakery - 4/930 Old Northern Road Glenorie (Hills Shire area) at 8:15am. If you'd like to have a full breakfast be sure to turn up much earlier. We will depart at 8:45am sharp.

Drive Route

From the bakery we will take fun back roads to Putty Road. Our comfort stop will be at the Grey Gum cafe in Putty. We try and do this run once every year or two as it has a lot of long sweeping corners, scenic bridges, and bush valleys.

Lunch

Bimbadgen Estate - 790 McDonalds Road Pokolbin. Lunch is $30pp and is payable on arrival at the outside bar. Lunch includes 1hour of bottomless pizzas. Please advise of any dietaries at the time of registration.

Cancellations

Please cancel ASAP so we can utilise the waiting list and advise the venue of a potential change in numbers.

Important notes:

  1. 5 watt CB radios are highly recommended for use, so drivers are aware of upcoming turns and potential hazards. The club will offer a few radios on the day for loan, however we recommend our regular attendees purchase their own.
  2. Cancellations can be made through the event via your login on the club website. This will allow someone who is on the waitlist to join us on the drive.
  3. Tail-end-charlie - If you are happy to follow up the rear of the convoy to keep everyone together, please email Ash. Otherwise she will take nominations at the driver briefing.

SOCIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Our social events are very popular, and as such, we are looking for club members to run social drives to help Ash out!

Please reach out to Ash at the event, or via the email below if you are interested in running some social events for the club.

Please send any queries to Ash at ash.sherry@bmwclubnsw.asn.au
