Nationals Committee Visit to Bathurst
As part of the early planning for the BMW Clubs Australia Nationals 2027, members of the Nationals organising committee recently travelled to Bathurst, NSW to meet with key stakeholders and venues critical to delivering a successful national event.
The visit focused on assessing potential venues, logistics, and opportunities unique to Bathurst, ensuring the event reflects both the scale of the Nationals and the significance of the location. Meetings were held with representatives from Bathurst Regional Council, providing valuable insight into local support, event requirements, and coordination opportunities across the region.
The committee also met with representatives from the National Motor Racing Museum, exploring ways to incorporate Bathurst’s rich motorsport heritage into the 2027 Nationals experience. These discussions helped shape early concepts around venue use, member activities, and the broader event narrative.
This site visit marked an important milestone in the planning process, allowing the committee to align vision with practical considerations on the ground. Further venue assessments and stakeholder engagement will continue as preparations progress, with updates to be shared as plans for BMW Nationals 2027 develop.
