BMW Supersprint Round 1 and Track Day

At this Motorsport day we will have Supersprints for our Supersprint Drivers and a Come and Try day that we will call Track Day for drivers who wish to enjoy driving their BMW on this racetrack but not in the Supersprint competition.

We expect to have four groups of 20 cars running on the day. Possibly 3  Supersprint Groups and one Track Day Group.   

Same entry fee for either Supersprint or Track Day.  Supp Regs published with entry costs on 1 Jan.  

For Supersprint the rules, will be as our normal Supersprints championship Supp. Regs.  Speed groups fastest to slowest, Cars Scrutiny checked and drivers have Motorsport Australia Speed Licences.

For Track Day Groups the rules are:

the car has current Australian registration, is road legal and you drive the car to the circuit,

no fire extinguisher needed, a tow hook is recommend but not compulsory,

approved helmet and appropriate apparel required,

no timing, no published results, no prizes.

Track Day drivers either purchase a Motorsport Australia one day introductory licence for $30 or have a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence.

So we can determine entry costs, we need to know how many drivers would like to have a go at this event  Let us know that you will enter Supersprint or Track Day with a short email to motorsport@bmwclubnsw.asn.au
