
Please note that Electric, Hybrid and Mild Hybrid vehicles are currently not accepted at this Motorsport Australia event at Sydney Motorsport Park but this may change.
This is a full Driver Training day on Amaroo Circuit as a Come and Try event. It is your opportunity to drive on this circuit. Motorsport Australia Permit Number for this day (to be announced) is 226/3101/TBA.
We have our experienced and talented drivers with Motorsport Australia Driver Coach qualifications as our instructors. We will be running four groups of up to 15 cars in each group so that all drivers can drive at their own pace without being delayed or pushed to go faster.
Group 1 will be for experienced drivers looking for Supersprint driving instruction.
Group 2 less experienced drivers wanting driver training.
Group 3 for drivers new to the track looking to be instructed in their track driving.
Group 4 for inexperienced drivers starting out for track driving.
There is a process to enter this event:
Step 1. Read the Preliminary Supp. Regs. for this Driver Experience. It includes all the information on how the event will be run.
Step 2. You must have a Motorsport Australia Licence. If you don’t have an MA Speed or Junior Speed Licence then go online to Motorsport Australia Speed Licence and purchase your licence online, OR, if you want just an Motorsport Australia Come & Try Introductory one day licence for $35 for just one day then follow that link, download the Introductory licence, print it, fill it in including your Credit Card payment section, and bring it with you to the Sign-on Desk on the day. For 1 day fill in registration licence with "One-Day".
Step 3. Register for this event, by completing the online Registration Form and paying the appropriate entry fee. So that Track Manager and Flag Marshals can identify your car on the track as it moves past at speed, all cars will have a two digit car number sticker supplied by us at sign-on and that you install on the car windscreen top right corner. All the event documents are included in your registration and includes your Compliance, Disclaimer, and Scrutiny Forms. A registration accepted and a copy of your Compliance, Disclaimer, and Scrutiny Forms will be emailed to you.
Step 4. Your Scrutiny Form is with the Scrutineers and your emailed copy of that Scrutiny Form is for you to check and make sure your car is OK and it will pass the Scrutineers to allow your car on the track. Road cars must be able to pass the TfNSW road rego. test or our BMW track cars must pass the Club's Scrutiny requirement. Note, all that information is in the Supp. Regs.
There is also a Passenger Ride Form. There are no Passengers, just Driving Coaches and Drivers who all must have the Passenger Ride form. Download the form complete it, bring it with you and hand it to the Sign-on Desk staff.

There will be a 30 minute session separated in our Driver Experience day where club members who want to know what Motorsport is all about can come along in their road car with passengers and follow the Driver Coach in Parade Laps. During that session you can take a passenger in your car. See the Parade Laps event.
Volunteers We call for our talented, Experienced Supersprint, Drivers with Motorsport Australia Coach qualifications to register as our Driving Instructors.
We need Flag Marshals and will be able to offer our Flag Marshals a couple of laps of Amaroo Circuit in the Passenger's seat of talented driver's car and lunch time. Please encourage your friends and relatives to be Flag Marshals for the day and register on the Volunteers event.
If you intend entering the 2026 Supersprint Championship please complete the online Annex C Form. This assists having cars in the correct Supersprint Class.
