  We need all our volunteer crew of Officials, that is Management, Sign-on, Scrutineering and Flag Marshals to register on this site to run this Motorsport Event.  

  Flag Marshals. If you want an experience on trackside with a radio transceiver and light control panel, here is where you register as a volunteer Flag Marshal.  As a Flag Marshal you are assisting making it safe for us driving on the circuit.  We can even offer a few laps in the passengers seat of a Supersprint car with an expert driver showing you the excitment of track driving.  Let motorsport know that you would like those laps. Experience is not essential as we provide a full Flag Marshal briefing.  Flag Marshals Register and also complete a Passenger Ride Form, print it and hand it in to the Sign-on Desk.  

  The Management team, sign-on and scrutineering crews also register here and complete the Motorsport Australia Disclaimer. 

  This Motorsport Australia SS.3 Supersprint and Track Day will have Permit 225/1008/ to be announced. Please download read and understand the preliminary Event Supp. Regs.  

  If you are bringing a car to the circuit please complete the online Annex C Form. This assists having cars in the correct Supersprint Class.

  This Sunday 10 Aug at Amaroo Circuit is round 3 of our 2025 BMW Supersprint Championship and includes the opportunity, for a small number of drivers in their daily driver BMWs, to enjoy a Track Day run on this racetrack. 

  Read these  APPROVED SUPP. REGS.   There has been approved Further Regs. and these cover our Motorsport Australia Steward, our removal of familiarisation laps and our inclusion of driver Coaches can be included for those new to or unfamiliar with Amaroo.  

  Numbers will be limited for Supersprint speed event and Track Day. You will be wise to register asap.

  For Supersprint cars, full standard Supersprint Scrutineering is required. 

  For Track Day, cars are road registered, driven to the track and back home, basic rego. check, no R spec tyres, no timing, no points, no fire extinguishers required, just enjoy the opportunity for a track drive. 

  Amaroo Circuit is not as high speed as some but is a very technical circuit and good fun. Don't register in an Electric, Hybrid or Mild Hybrid vehicle.  Battery cars are currently not approved at Sydney Motorsport Park for this event. 

  This event is Motorsport Australia Permit 225/1008/06  and all drivers must have a current Motorsport Australia Speed Licence.  You can get that licence online at https://motorsport.org.au/licence/  There are no one day introductory licences for this event.  

  Registration has a new process to save paperwork.

  Step 1  Register for this Supersprint or Track Day and pay online.  

  Step 2   All drivers must complete this online  Master Event Form   It combines Event Details, your Disclaimer, Compliance and Scrutiny, on the one form. It will email a copy of your form to you.  

  If you are considering sharing a car for a single set of runs then Deriver 1registers and driver 2 emails Motorsport for the 2nd driver code.  There are different codes for Supersprint and Track Day.  

  If you haven't tried Amaroo, take a look at Pete's Driver Coaching Lap of Amaroo - This video track guide to Amaroo circuit is as Pete does a lap on R Spec tyres.  His lines are a bit exciting. The aim is to stay on the track, inside those lines.  Listen to his commentary.

  We are running Supersprints to the BMW Drivers NSW 2025 Supersprint Rules . All BMW Drivers Club Competitors are to read the rules, complete the 2025 Annex C  form for their car and email it to Motorsport. This is required only once each year, the first time you enter.

  The BMW Driver’s Club NSW Annual General Meeting is to be held on 20th August 2025 at 7:00pm AEST.

  Financial members of the BMW Drivers Club NSW Incorporated may attend the BMW Driver’s Club NSW Annual General Meeting to be held on 20th August 2025 at 7:00pm AEST.

  A new Executive and General Committee is to be elected and we are calling for nominations to fill these important positions to conduct the direction, management of operations and administration of the Club.

  • Treasurer	• Motorsport Assistant

  Should you wish to nominate as a club committee volunteer, there is a nomination form to be completed and submitted. 

  Should you wish to nominate a club member to a committee volunteer position, there is a nomination form to be completed and submitted.  Access the Nomination Form in PDF format here. This form will require the Nominee to have been a financial member of the club for at least 12 months prior to August 20, 2025. The nomination MUST be by two financial club members. The completed nomination form is to be submitted via email to the Secretary of the Club in PDF format, on or before August 6, 2025.

  Should members wish to propose a motion to the meeting, there is a Notice of Motion form, available here. Any Notices of Motion are to be submitted to the Club Secretary on or before July 23, 2025.

  Porsche Club NSW have invited us to join in their Supersprint events. More track time is never enough.  

  To add to our desire for motorsport we have been invited as guests to Porsche Club NSW's Supersprint Round 5 for 2025 at Gardner Circuit, SMSP

  This is a Porsche Club Event with no points in our Supersprint Championship.  Simply to register, follow these instructions 

  1. Register your attendance through here so our club knows you are attending and we can communicate any important information easily with you.
  2. Registration with PCNSW is open so go to their website   https://pcnsw.onefireplace.com/page-1260504        The password is INVITED.  Be sure to have your Motorsport Australia Speed Licence details handy as it's a minimum entry requirement for this event.
  3. Complete ALL the Porsche Club NSW paperwork.
  4. Read the Supplementary Regulations on their event webpage.

  In 2024 we missed our Supersprint rounds 5 and 7 due to low driver numbers. For 2025 we have 4 Supersprints for our champions, but we are not crediting BMW Club Supersprint Championship points for driving in this Porsche event.  Just enjoy this evening.

  A Motorkhana on the Sydney Motorsport Park Skid Pan is challenging, entertaining and educational. If you are interested in learning about precision car control in a fun and/or competitive environment then this event is for you!

  This event involves timed runs on a serious of tests (courses) set up using traffic cones on the skidpan with the goal of achieving the fastest possible time without making mistakes. It is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience alike. In car instructors are normally provided at our events.

  This MotorKhana is part of a 5 MotorKhana Championship with trophies awarded at the end of the year at the Club's Annual Dinner. All the rules for MotorKhana are published in "Motorsport" on this website.

  No helmets are required, only enclosed shoes, a t-shirt and shorts at a minimum. All brands of vehicles are permitted.

  Entry will only initially be open to BMW Drivers Club NSW Members for $80. You are not required to own a BMW to become a member of our club. Registration to non-members will open 2 weeks prior to the event date with all entries costing $105.

  To compete, you will require a valid Motorsport Australia Speed licence (at a minimum). Members of Motorsport Australia affiliated clubs such as ours can obtained that licence online at https://www.motorsport.org.au/register or https://motorsport.org.au/login.

  At registration, you must provide the following documents:

  1. Completed Self Statement of Vehicle Compliance

You must also complete a Passenger Ride Entry Form. Anyone can be a passenger if you are interested in seeing and experiencing what motorkhana is about. Just ask a competitor on the day for permission to hop in their vehicle as a passenger and enjoy the ride!

  We also require a few volunteers for the day to assist with activities such as setting up of cones and timing of competitor runs. A hot lunch as well as snacks and drinks are provided by the club to volunteers. Volunteers can also be competitors, assisting with proceedings when not driving. If you are volunteering, please attend the skidpan at around 7.15am to assist with setup.

  We are most excited to reveal to our members the details of our next escape!  This time we are visiting the vibrant Nations Capital, for both a tulip display, and most importantly, awesome car displays at the German Auto Day! 

  What to expect

  We are basing this escape program around attending German Auto Day GAD on Sunday 28th September, and will include a number of great activities and stops along the way.

  A convoy will depart Sydney on Friday 26th September and will head for Canberra CBD via the Southern Highlands and Goulburn for comfort stops. 

  To help attendees forget the boring Hume Highway, we've organised with BMW Car Club Canberra to join a social drive on Saturday morning to enjoy all of their best roads on offer. We will conclude for lunch at the Wee Jasper Distillery. Following this event, we will wash our cars at the Hume Truck Wash (hot wash facilities) to prep them for GAD the following day.

  Group dinners have been organised for both Friday and Saturday evenings and are payable at the time of registration.

  We've arranged a special rate at The Deco Hotel located in Braddon in Canberra. The Hotel is modern, has excellent facilities, and secure underground parking. Instructions to book the accommodation are contained in the trip itinerary. If the Hotel does not suit your requirements, you may stay elsewhere.

  GAD is a one day German automotive display event held each year and is a collaboration event organised by local German branded marques, BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen and other rare marques.

  This year we are hosting 2 Driver Experience nights on the skidpan at Sydney Motorsport Park. These events are a great opportunity to not only learn some valuable car control skills but also dip your toes into the world of motorsport in a fun, educational and welcoming event with like minded drivers. Instruction will be provided on the night on various driving techniques/situations including understeer, oversteer, handbrake turns (if applicable) reverse J turns and drifting and how to apply all of these together into a Motorkhana course.

  This event is suitable for most drivers, anywhere from juniors (12-17 year olds), to adult drivers interested in trying out their cars on the skidpan for the first time, to more experienced drivers who are interested in refreshing some of their car control techniques.

  Entrants will need to be a club member and must hold a valid Motorsport Australia Licence.  This licence is available online from Motorsport Australia. Don’t delay as you must have that licence before the event date.

  18+ Years of Age - Speed Licence

  12-17 Years of Age - Speed Junior Licence

  For those who have never previously held any Motorsport Australia Licence, you can purchase a $30 2025 Motorsport Australia Introductory Licence (credit card details are required)

  Following the phenomenal success of our inaugural SuperFest, we're thrilled to announce BMW SuperFest 2025 proudly sponsored by Parramatta BMW and Castle Hill BMW.

  Join us at Sydney Motorsport Park for a spectacular combination of our annual car show and Round 4 of the Supersprint Motorsport Championship on the iconic GP Gardner Circuit.

  A Supersprint is a motorsport event where drivers compete to set their fastest lap time on a race track, rather than racing against other drivers. Drivers are sent out in group sessions with other drivers with similar personal best lap times. Vehicles are sent out in approximate fastest to slowest order to minimise the amount of overtaking and to maximise fun. 

  
  

  What our competitors can expect
  

  • 4–5 timed sessions plus a final session after the afternoon parade laps

  • Prime atmosphere: race in front of thousands of enthusiasts.
  • All car brands welcome: bring your best-prepared car and your best lap.

  

  Key timings (subject to final schedule)

  • Gates open: 6:00am (strictly SuperSprint competitors only)
  • Sign-on & vehicle scrutiny: from 6:45am
  • Driver briefing: 8:00am
  • Parade laps (car show entrants): from 2:00pm
  • Final timed session: after parade laps conclude before 4:30pm

  Motorsport competitors can enjoy all that SuperFest has to offer between runs and during their lunch break.

  Important - Access to the event will be withheld until all three required forms are completed. 
  

  Supersprint entry requirements (read carefully)

  • Licence: Minimum Motorsport Australia Speed Licence required to compete.
  • Regulations: You must read the preliminary Supplementary Regulations and if required Further Regulations for this event 
  • Permit: Motorsport Australia Permit 225/2610/TBA.

  

  Mandatory online forms to be completed

  After registering and paying for your Supersprint entry, please return to this page and submit online your SuperFest Master Form (that form includes compliance, disclaimer and scrutiny check forms).  When submitted, your form is recorded and a copy is emailed to you. 

  Important: This form is to be submitted online before 21 Oct.  If not submitted, you will be excluded from the event. 

  Scrutineering: By signing the SuperFest Master Form, you confirm your car complies with Motorsport Australia scrutiny requirements.

  Use your  SuperFest Master Form  to ensure your vehicle will pass Scrutiny. Your car must pass scrutineering or you will not be allowed to compete on the day.

  Do you have a vehicle you wish to enter into the SuperFest Show N Shine? 

  All enthusiasts are invited to showcase their pride and joy at SuperFest. There are two vehicle display options: 
  

  1. Show N Shine - Open to all BMW enthusiasts. Prizes will be awarded on the day. Includes parade laps during a designated time slot (mid afternoon).
     
  2. Judged Vehicles - Open exclusively to financial club members of any BMW Clubs in Australia. Trophies awarded on the day for each category. Includes parade laps during a designated time slot (mid afternoon).

  2. Judged Vehicles - Open exclusively to financial club members of any BMW Clubs in Australia. Trophies awarded on the day for each category. Includes parade laps during a designated time slot (mid afternoon).

  Experience the thrill of the GP Gardner Circuit in SuperSprint Round 4. In a SuperSprint, drivers compete for their fastest lap time rather than racing head-to-head. Cars are grouped by similar lap times and released in fastest-to-slowest order for maximum fun and minimal overtaking.

  A Motorkhana on the Sydney Motorsport Park Skid Pan is challenging, entertaining and educational. If you are interested in learning about precision car control in a fun and/or competitive environment then this event is for you!

  This event involves timed runs on a serious of tests (courses) set up using traffic cones on the skidpan with the goal of achieving the fastest possible time without making mistakes. It is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience alike. In car instructors are normally provided at our events.

  This MotorKhana is part of a 5 MotorKhana Championship with trophies awarded at the end of the year at the Club's Annual Dinner. All the rules for MotorKhana are published in "Motorsport" on this website.

  No helmets are required, only enclosed shoes, a t-shirt and shorts at a minimum. All brands of vehicles are permitted.

  Entry will only initially be open to BMW Drivers Club NSW Members for $80. You are not required to own a BMW to become a member of our club. Registration to non-members will open 2 weeks prior to the event date with all entries costing $105.

  To compete, you will require a valid Motorsport Australia Speed licence (at a minimum). Members of Motorsport Australia affiliated clubs such as ours can obtained that licence online at https://www.motorsport.org.au/register or https://motorsport.org.au/login.

  At registration, you must provide the following documents:

  1. Completed Self Statement of Vehicle Compliance
  2. Completed Self Checklist Autotest 
  3. Completed Motorsport Australia General Disclaimer
  4. Screenshot or photo of your current Motorsport Australia Speed Licence

  If you wish to be a passenger or a volunteer at our Motorkhana event, please register here. Competitors are not required to sign up as a passenger.

  Passengers are required to wear a t-shirt and shorts as well as enclosed footwear and must keep limbs within the confines of the vehicle at all times. You must also complete a Passenger Ride Entry Form. Anyone can be a passenger if you are interested in seeing and experiencing what motorkhana is about. Just ask a competitor on the day for permission to hop in their vehicle as a passenger and enjoy the ride!

  We also require a few volunteers for the day to assist with activities such as setting up of cones and timing of competitor runs. A hot lunch as well as snacks and drinks are provided by the club to volunteers. Volunteers can also be competitors, assisting with proceedings when not driving. If you are volunteering, please attend the skidpan at around 7.15am to assist with setup.

  Seven sessions (145 minutes max. 40 cars/group):

  Day 1 - 15 minutes Familiarity, 15 minutes Practice, 2 x 20 minutes Sprint
  Day 2 - 3 x 25 minutes Sprint with Entry Fees: $2,980 incl. GST.
  (includes $100 fuel credit subject to conditions)
  
  Six sessions (120 minutes max. 55 cars/group):
  
  Day 1 - 20 minutes Familiarity, 20 minutes Practice, 20 minutes Trial #1
  Day 2 - 3 x 20 minutes Trial #2, 3 and 4 with Entry Fees: $1,950 incl. GST
  (includes $100 fuel credit subject to conditions)
  The Z Car Club of QLD and the BMW Driver's Club of Melbourne will manage their own Groups.
